Travel Advice from an Abrasive Millenial
This was my ~maiden voyage~ flying to mainland Europe, because even analogies about ships crossing oceans must somehow reference women and ~coitus~
If I could change anything, I would’ve skipped Nice and gone straight from Paris to Florence to spend more time in either city. The French Riviera is beautiful, but is more of its own separate vacation. Overall, France and Italy are super ugly and you probably shouldn’t go.
Remember that three week long joy ride I casually went on from Alaska to bloody freaking North Carolina? The best part was Moab, Utah. I GET IT, YOU ALL HAVE MANY MORMON JOKES, YOU’RE HYSTERICAL. Cease and desist.
Moab, Utah was absolutely unreal, and that’s even after driving through the glory that is Canada’s Jasper and Banff national parks. I never in my life thought, “I would rather go to Utah than to Florida on my spring break” but sweet baby Jesus in a manger, this place is the tits. In three days we saw the most beautiful red rock formations, endless canyons covered in petroglyphs and actual fucking dinosaur footprints, and had some pretty bitchin huevos rancheros tbh. Omg Andrea how ever did you know that rock formations simply THRILL me? Stfu and look at Arches National Park:
The weather in March was absolutely perfect for some hiking around and exploring all the parks. I will definitely be posting more pictures from this pit stop in the future.

This was our 10 day itinerary from Athens, Ia, and Rhodes. The Greeks may or may not think that they are the creators of modern civilization as we know it, but if they keep stuffing my face with pita bread I’ll definitely keep my mouth shut about it.
Greece in 10 days: Obviously you can add and subtract whatever days or destinations you like from this. The take-away should be that Athens will end up being your central hub for everything regardless of where you want to go, remember to bring your student ID for discounts, and get your ass to Meteora.

If you go to school in the middle of nowhere or in-between a few airports, which one should you make it your business to get to?
I found the academic calendars of over 20 major colleges and universities around the country (thx Google), tracked down their spring break times (#stalkerstyle), and found their closest regional and international airports. From there I just tracked prices flying out of all of those airports, and discovered which ones have the best deals. *All the hubs I found are also the cheapest destinations to and from other hubs.*
